Earthly Rise: February 27, 1967 - Eternal Reign: July 2, 2024
Apostle Bernard Boulton was a multifaceted leader with a profound passion for mentoring, equipping, and empowering believers in their prophetic and creative callings. He was the founder and senior leader of The Renaissance Prophetic Network, a 21st-century initiative headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, designed to guide Ephesians 4:11 believers into a new life of prophetic and creative expression; and a founding member of the Voices of Christ Apostolic Prophetic School of the Scribe (The School of the Scribe).
Early Life and Inspiration
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Bernard Boulton's journey into ministry and creative expression began early. At ten years old, his mother gave him a copy of "Roots" by Alex Haley, which planted a seed in his imagination and ignited his dream of writing and publishing. This dream was nurtured further when his college English instructor recognized his writing talent and encouraged him to pursue it.
Ministry and Apostolic Calling
Boulton began preaching in 1984 and started pastoring in 1993, quickly becoming known for his teaching and pastoral skills. (His ministry spanned 30 years.) In 2007, he experienced a profound prophetic awakening through the ministry of prophets. This transformation deepened during his time in The School of the Scribe with Apostle Theresa Harvard Johnson in 2012. Here, he received divine revelations about his apostolic calling, prompting him to leave the traditional, denominational church and pioneer the Watchman on Walls Fellowship across the southeast until 2020.
After completing the Certificate to Teach The Scribal Anointing Program under the leadership of Apostle Johnson, they joined arms to bring the Scribal Nation forth.
He was a core teacher in the ministry, a mentor to scribes, and a tremendous support to the ministry expansion, growth and development. His core areas of teaching including creativity, mentorship, publishing and transitioning from traditional ministry models into a 21st-century view focused on the Spirit of God. The School of the Scribe Is committed and honored to continue his legacy.
This period of his life spanned more than decade and was filled with profound spiritual encounters and revelations that laid the groundwork for The Renaissance Prophetic Network. This initiative served as a lighthouse for those seeking to explore and apply their prophetic and creative giftings in unprecedented times, emphasizing ministry integrity and maturity.
Creative Journey and Writing
Apostle Boulton's creative journey was as significant as his ministry. During a challenging period as an unemployed expectant father, he wrote his first book, which marked the beginning of his writing career. Despite initial setbacks with publishing, his determination led to the eventual release of his first published book, "Do You Wanna Be Made Whole?" This accomplishment marked his creative awakening and solidified his commitment to helping others realize their creative potential.

RPN recognized the need to undergird, raise up and strengthen leaders and provide them with the tools needed for ministry integrity and maturity.
His mission was to guide prophetic people who were building ministries with a profound prophetic edge, training and equipping them them to become effective and prosperous in their calling to serve.

Through his ministry, writing, and mentorship, he continued to inspire and equip individuals to fulfill their God-given potential, bringing new life and purpose to their prophetic and creative journeys.
