The Voices of Christ Apostolic-Prophetic School of the Scribe is the premier educational center for serious prophetic scribes & prophetic writers who are seeking to uncover their scribal identity; advance in their purpose and learn to impact their spheres of influence with integrity, authority, precision, and power.
Founded by Apostle Theresa Harvard Johnson, The School of the Scribe is the evolution of the evangelistic ministry of the Voices of Christ Prophetic Poetry Team, which began in a small church in south Metro Atlanta with a few poets from varying denominations across the city in the early 2000s.
We were among the first pioneering groups with a 21st-century artistic-anointing operating as a prophetic team in the arts. In 2004, Charisma Magazine highlighted our journey in the article, “Georgia Based Prophetic-Poets Use Poetry as an Evangelism Tool.” At the time, the team hosted regular worship arts and poetry concerts around the city, bi-annual Voices of Christ Prophetic Poets & Writer’s conferences – the only one of its kind at the time globally - and performed poetry by request across the state and nation at worship arts conferences, church events and community functions.
The team met weekly for Christian-artist-based bible studies and healing sessions, which drew interest from both Christian and non-Christian groups in the city. The group also hosted a popular radio broadcast entitled, “The Praise Poetry Café” and later, “Spoken Live!” on a local radio station where they featured poets, authors and artists. Everything the organization accomplished was through partnership and collaboration with team members, ministries and community organizations. The ministry grew to include seventeen chapters nationwide where artists were supported in spiritual development, prayer and community understanding that included corporate prayer calls, training and teaching in the arts with Apostle Johnson.
In 2005, the Lord released a powerful prophetic word to her through a dream entitled: “There is a Scribal Anointing Across the Land.” This prophecy was largely rejected by popular groups and prophetic voices. The inability to get it published pushed Apostle Johnson to begin a blog and online website dedicated to releasing prophecy and instruction to those hearing and experiencing a similar clarion call that is today known as the Chamber of the Scribe. It also prompted her to publish a creative writing magazine entitled, Esdras' Scroll, that focused on releasing prophetically inspired creative writing, art and prophecy related to "The Scribal Anointing®."
In early 2006, this prophecy gave birth to the first instructional manuscript for prophetic scribes and writers, “The Scribal Anointing: Scribes Instructed in the Kingdom of Heaven.” In that same year, the ministry changed its name to Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International. In addition, the concept of “The School of the Scribe” was born which completely shifted the prophetic writer's conferences.
In 2010, the Voices of Christ Apostolic Prophetic School of the Scribe was born. It is now known as "The School of the Scribe." Apostle Johnson, through dreams, was given a mandate to raise up, strengthen and support the Lord's scribal nation. Her website, “The Chamber of the Scribe,” catalogs this journey and the growth of the ministry through hundreds of articles and prophecies.
In 2014, Apostle Johnson met Apostle Dr. Kluane Spake through an unlikely, supernatural encounter. Dr. Spake released a powerful prophetic word to her that completed shifted the trajectory of her life and the ministry, giving way to the resourceful, revelational and reformational school we see today.
The School of the Scribe has become a repository in the earth that easily transitions the historical, academic and revelatory realms of the scribe into practical and applicable study for prophetic scribes globally. In addition, Apostle Johnson has been recognized by leading ministers today within her sphere as the progenitor of The Scribal Anointing® teachings.
