Are you seeking to deepen your understanding of your calling, refine your writing skills, and use your unique voice to effect meaningful change in the world? If so, The Resistance Poetry Writing Workshop is the perfect opportunity for you to embark on a transformative journey and emerge as a powerful advocate for the voiceless. For two-days, we will dive into this profound prophetic calling from the perspective of The Scribal Anointing® in this VIRTUAL WORKSHOP via zoom.

By sharing your work, you will forge valuable connections with fellow prophetic activists and strengthen your conviction in your mission.

Isaiah 1:17, "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow."

Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

What is resistance as it relates to justice and advocacy?

Resistance in the context of justice and advocacy in this course refers to the act of actively opposing or fighting against oppressive or unjust systems, structures, and practices. It involves challenging the status quo and working towards creating positive change.

Resistance can take many forms, including but not limited to:  nonviolent protests and civil disobedience, advocacy and lobbying for policy change, community organizing and mobilization, educating others about social justice issues, speaking out against injustice through media, art, or other creative outlets. Those who engage in resistance often do so in pursuit of justice and equality, and may seek to create a more just and equitable society for marginalized and oppressed communities. Resistance can be a powerful tool for social change, as it challenges the systems and structures that perpetuate inequality and injustice.
